For NO reason, whatso-bleeping-ever, this morning the computer decided that Mozilla and Trillian shouldn't work. Can't connect to the internet. NOTHING connects to the internet except Internet Explorer now, so nothing can update, I can't chat, and I have a lot of fuss just trying to get to my usual sites since Internet Explorer didn't have the sites bookmarked.
There's no stinking reason I can find for it either, but I'm getting screwed over anyway. Internet connection is fine, Internet Explorer works, so WHY THE HECK DOESN'T ANYTHING ELSE!?!

A virus perhaps? You could also try reinstalling the programs.
I know that I stopped using Trillian entirely because of a similar case of it just ceasing to work.

I was wondering where you where....it sounds like a spyware or virus problem. Or a flat out windows F-up. Have you tried system restore? *sigh* God damn that this happens so close to me getting out of college. God FORBID my days after college be good ones. God FORBID it...*mutter* If I may COMPLETELY say so, your computer DESPERATLY needs a complete wipe and fresh windows install. SOMETHING. *sigh* Well...maybe...DAMNIT! And I can't lift a FINGER to help...I'm guessing your parents are oh so gleefully using IExplorer and ignoring the situation, right?

New Report - It's fixed now, and turned out to be the router...somehow. Anyway, this was learned AFTER trying total reinstall. So I'm around, but may still be working on returning things to normal.
