It's high school... but it's alright I can finish an elective in a week or two if I try. Oh. Hehe. Btw, for the new RP, I vote Chrono Trigger universe.

Sadly I have never played Chrono Trigger. OMG BLASPHEMY!! *SLAP!* Though really you should at least get a ROM of it for SNES and play it on ZSNES. It's a good game. We could tell you what you need to know though.

Ow... *charges death ray but stops* Right then... I may not have knowledge of the game but I did know it existed and that's the first step. I also have smilies.

Was only a silly slap, nothing meant by it. Although I'm surprised you haven't played it. It's a pretty big game. I'd also suggest it's PSX sequel Chrono Cross. Compared to Final Fantasy, the Chrono series was probably more experimentive for SquareSoft. Although I think they did a wonderful job with the games. Anyways, although I'm still waiting on Forte's vote on the matter, I'm willing to help you along in the RP if we go for Chrono Trigger.

Chrono Trigger sounds nice to me, and I have access to Wikipedia links explaining it if needed.

Chrono Trigger sounds nice to me, and I have access to Wikipedia links explaining it if needed. Then by vote it's decided. However, this leaves where we should dive into Chrono Trigger from. EDIT: Likely we'll start from the begining or end to minimize the confusion of diving into the middle.

And now I have added Chrono Trigger to my list of games that are almost completed. Too tired to mess with Lavos tonight... ~_~

And now I have added Chrono Trigger to my list of games that are almost completed. Too tired to mess with Lavos tonight... ~_~ You already nearly beat the game?! Woah. I have to congradulate you on that speed. Did you like the game? (if you did, try Chrono Cross for the Playstation 1. It's not quite as inventive I think (or at least doesn't add much Chrono Trigger didn't have), aside from the magic system, but it's a good game. Waaaaaaaay too many characters though. I think the game has 40 or something possible characters to recruit, and a multitude of story variations depending on what you do. Bright side is it gives it nice replay value!) ***POSSIBLE SPOILERS AHEAD (note I rarely get if something is technically a spoiler or not. This is here as a "just in case" measure)-> SCROLL BY TO SKIP*** So you know, there are different endings to the game, I think. Although they mainly are tied to HOW you GET into the last boss fight/What portal you use, and what time period you fight lavos in. (although I forgot most of the variations >_> <_< ^_^ ***END SPOILERS***

If I had continued I probably would have beaten the game in about 26-27 hours, maybe less. That's with the sidequests the old man brings up at the end completed which I've already done.
As for my thoughts on the game very straight forward for the most part. Though it is a really good game and even the graphics are good taking into account the time. The story is nicely done as well of course.

Heh, and here I thought I was legendary on my first run through of the game with a short speed. I similarly blazed through Lunar and Final Fantasy. Then again, I "kinda" have games in the genes. Long story.
This makes Chrono Trigger a feasible RP! YAY!

You probably went through it when the game would be known is challenging. Seems like the newer games are harder by comparison meaning either I've gotten better playing new games or I'm just good at games now. (I actually beat the shadow temple last time I played ocarina of time instead of having my friend do it.)

Eh, who knows. I think the big difference is that the long term companies are more experienced with how they should make the difficulty curve to keep thinks even. Anyways, If you've played Chrono Trigger now, than we can use it for the RP! Now the question is where to start. Somewhere near the middle is open now.

Hard to say where to start... I assume we're not using cannons since I fail hard with cannons...

Hmmm...are you meaning cannons like the kinda that shoot out people, or that other spelling that means storyline stuff.
Because don't worry, If it's the storyline stuff, I suck at it too. There IS someone here who doesn't, though. And he does do good use of the Chrono Trigger characters. Right Forte? HMMMmmmmmm??
If you mean cannons like the kind you can be a human cannonball with, I vote firing myself out of a cannon for fun! Just gimme a helmet.

heh. Yeah, canon stuff I'm good with, and good with "fudging" it.

Yes I meant the storyline... though the thing that launches other things also has merit.

Muee...hee....heeeeeee...
You don't know of the doom you just made me come up with. Now lets start the RP. I'll go along with whatever. You and Forte can think up a story bit, or Just Forte. But I'm starting!
*the camera fades in...althoughe veryone present is in a big cannon. Vito is wearing a crash suit with a BIG helmet*
Vito: I'm telling you this is SO much cheaper than taking the bus!

Vito: Aw shush and get the crash suit on. HEY GORDON! READY TO HIT THE BUTTON!? Next stop HAWAII!
Dude: *outside* Weren't you going to the town over?
Vito: Nope. They gave me a discount for bulk gunpowder orders!

(We're doing this in the same thread with no setting? I can roll like that I suppose...)
Sentios: I'm more curious as to why the police haven't shown up with all the gunpowder purchasing and such...

*Gordon, the "mutant" Croconaw, snickers.* Gordon: I blame the police's non-involvement to Murphy. The Murphy of Murphy's law, or at least some looney with bad-luck powers who says he is. His stupid seems catchy to some people.
Forte: Actually, I think he's bad-lucking their not coming and saving Vito from himself.
Gordon: I just hope we aimed this thing right. *ready at the button.*
Forte: ..*shrugs.* Okay, I'll go along with the gag. Besides, Vito attracts weirdness, but he always manages to survive it.

Murphy: LEAVE ALREADY!
Vito: Oh FINE. Gordon! Hit the SWITCH!
